The beginning of a new year is always so refreshing. It offers a new way of looking at things, new adventures, and most importantly - new books! Based on the Goodreads lists of new releases I have seen so far, this year will be full of wonderful stories with which we can fill our day. These are a few of the books I am most looking forward to this year. All titles are clickable and will take you to the Goodreads page.

As they work around the home, they remember work to discover what happened in their home growing up and what caused their parents to cover the windows and mirrors before their death.

The Mitford Affair – Marie Benedict (Publication Date: 01.17.2023) - The Mitford sisters are well known throughout London but not always for the right reasons. During WWII, two of the Mitford sisters were outed as Hitler supporters and one is even believed to be Hitler's mistress. When Nancy Mitford discovers that her sisters may be spies for the Germans, she does all she can to ensure that they are stopped and the Germans do not win the war.

Ghost 19 – Simone St. James (Publication Date: 01.03.2023) - In 1959, Gillette Cox moves to a small town where life is slower than she is used to. As a past time, she starts watching her neighbors and making up stories about their lives. She becomes obsessed with the neighbors when she realizes that her house will not let her leave.

The Three Lives of Alix St. Pierre (Publication Date: 01.10.2023) Alix St. Pierre is a former spy who deals with the guilt of knowing that a rendezvous she set up killed those who were entrusted in her care. When she meets a man who was the only surviving victim of that slaughter they begin to work together to find Alix's source as he is the one ultimately responsible. I was lucky enough to receive a galley of this book and you can find my review here.

Spare - Prince Harry (Publication Date: 01.10.2023) - Prince Harry is finally opening up. He tells the story of growing up in a home full of royals with strict rules, a life where his mother is vilified, and he is not as impossible as his brother. He has decided to live his own life and escapes to America to ensure the safety of his family. I know this is a controversial book for some but I am very curious as to what he has to say as an insider about different events in his family's life.
