What should be Harry Potter's final year at Hogwarts starts with him saying goodbye to the house on Privet Drive, being saved by a group of Harry look-a-likes, and going on a trip to find all of Voldemort's Horcruxes. As Harry and his friends travel all over the country not only do they find Horcruxes but they also discover more about Dumbledore and the life he led. In the final confrontation with Voldemort, Harry Potter realize that he is not the only one fighting to stop Voldemort; he comes to understand that there are many people working to help him win his fight.
Jim Dale, as always, did a wonderful job of portraying the myriad of characters required for this book. There is no narrator who could keep track of all the different accents and ways of speaking that are needed to adequately tell this story.
The final chapter in the saga of Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort is well worth the massive amount of pages. This is a good read for young adults and their parents alike. The story comes to a satisfying end which makes the length and girth of the series seem like it goes by in the blink of an eye.
