Delilah Green has returned to Bridget Falls, her hometown and somewhere she never wanted to return to. She only came back because she was hired to photograph her stepsister's wedding. As much as she would like to take the photos and return to New York City, her sister's childhood best friend, Claire, hit on her and she realizes she may be able to have a little fun while in town. As her visit continues, she starts to realize there is more to Claire than meets the eye and she thinks she likes it.
This is a cute little lesbian love story done right. The characters are beautifully explained including all of their flaws. Delilah is someone who has been hurt in the worst way possible and is extremely relatable. This was very much a queer Hallmark story and brought all the feels with it. It had just the right amount of love, lust, angst, and regret without seeming cheesy. I loved the time I had to read this book and felt like I could not wait to read more. I am looking forward to reading the next books in the series.
